The series tells a story of a amateur American Football coach who is acquired to move to London to coach a premier soccer team when ownership changes hands.

The deck is stacked against Ted. Matter of fact he is never meant to achieve success. But through his almost annoying optimism and can-do-attitude he begins to win over the team and people around him.

I’m still unpacking this series. So many lessons to unpack in just a few episodes. One of those is shared when Ted asks Sam to be like a goldfish. It’s the animal with the shortest memory. What a refreshing lens to view life through.

How many times have I played events over and over in my head. Each time digging more into a negative mindset. When in reality, I can process the feelings and lessons and then move on. Don’t dwell.

The world needs more gold fish.
